How does Covid-19 affect me as a customer? We are trying to make the escape room experience as fun as always, but we have implemented guidelines (in accordance with the CDC) to keep our customers and staff as safe as we can. - Masks are not required but always welcome. - Payment required in full at time of booking to limit in-person transactions. - Waiver filled out for all players before arriving to play. - Name and details of every player needed at time of booking. - Washing hands thoroughly before and after playing is strongly recommended. - A max of 2 groups in store at a time, staggered to minimize contact. - If you are sick, please contact us to reschedule. - Failure to follow instructions can cause booking to be cancelled without refund.

What is Ozark Escape doing in regards to Covid-19?As well as the new guidelines for customers (mentioned above), Ozark Escape is taking addtional steps to throughly clean and sanitise all common areas and game play areas.

Who can play?Friends & Family Create a memorable night for your group with an escape game. You'll need all brains on board to solve it before the clock runs out! All of our rooms are family friendly, but the puzzles are challenging, so we don't recommend this experience for players younger than 8 years old. Teams Looking for a fun, new team building challenge for your employees? Ozark Escape will provide your group with a new twist on communication and team dynamics. Visit our Team Building page for more info, and contact us to see how we can customize an event for your company. Church & Youth Groups Ozark Escape can provide your church group with an energetic and exciting way to connect and grow closer. If you have a large group, we can even split you up into separate rooms for a little friendly competition! Visitors & Tourists If you're in town for the day, or even a week or two, a visit to Ozark Escape will complete your itinerary and might just be the thing you talk about most when you get back home. Our locations are always within easy distance of many art, shopping, and dining options, so you won't need to travel any further to enjoy a full day or evening of entertainment.

How much does it cost? Can I get a group discount? It will be $28 per person. This price includes tax (unlike many other companies). For groups of 8 or more the price will drop to $26 per person. This will be automatically applied when booking online. If you wish to book multiple rooms for a larger group please contact us and we will set up your booking. *Covid update. If you wish to use our event space (for a birthday party etc) we may need to block the store so your group can enjoy the space in safety and privacy. If so, you may lose your group discount.
-
Can I walk in without a booking?Currently, we are not accepting walk ins. Please book in advance. This helps us minimize contact between groups and gurantees you a booking.
-
Is my booking complete? When you make a booking, whether online or over the phone, you will receive a confirmation email with all your booking information, such as date, time and any instructions to prepare. If you do not receive an email your booking may not have been completed, so feel free to get in contact with us to make sure.
-
Do I have to pay a deposit? When booking online you will be asked for 100% of the payment. If you need to split payment between players or have a large group, please let us help you make a booking. In this case we will ask for a deposit of $56 (2 players) to hold your booking and stop no-shows. (For groups with multiple rooms the deposit may be higher). The deposit is non-refundable.
-
Do I have to sign a waiver?Yes. We will ask you to sign a digital waiver every time you play with us. For minors under 18 a parent or guardian will need to sign on their behalf. You can sign before you play in store or you can do it ahead of time here, or via the link in your booking confirmation email.
-
When should I arrive for my game? Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking time. This allows us to finalize payment, get waivers signed and gives you time to get ready to play.
-
What are the age requirements? We require players to be at least 8 years of age. For players ages 8-14, an adult must be present. Our Experience Curators can offer extra help for ages 8-14 when special events have been prearranged. If you are concerned or want to find out about the suitability of our rooms, get in contact and we can help find the best room for you and your group.
-
Can I play outside of normal booking hours? If you have a large group and would like to play when we are usually closed, get in contact and we will try and arrange something for you. For large groups this can be a good way to make sure you get all the rooms you want and all the attention you need. We will have to check staff availability so we can't always guarantee the day or time you want, but we're happy to try.
-
Are the rooms wheelchair accessible? We want all of our rooms to be enjoyed by everyone and don't want anyone to be stopped before they've even had the chance to enter. Wheelchairs will be able to enter all rooms; some have standard doors, others may have double doors. In some of our larger rooms which contain multiple areas, we try to make sure all areas are accessible, although depending on the size of the space this isn't always possible. Feel free to contact us to discuss details.
-
I've never played an escape room before, any advice?Of course! We know our rooms inside out and are always happy to offer any help you might need. Communication is a big part of playing; if you find something or have an idea, tell the rest of the group, it might be what you need. Imagination can be helpful too, if you think something is possible, it might just work! Even if you're not a big talker or thinker, just keep your eyes open, finding things is half the battle. Whatever works for you, have fun doing it!
-
What if we get stuck on a puzzle and don't know what to do next? Each Ozark Escape location is staffed by Experience Curators who monitor the rooms via video. If you get stuck, your Experience Curator can give you a hint. Whether you choose to communicate with your Experience Curator is left to your discretion.
-
Something broke in the room, am I liable? We know accidents happen, and lots of people using the same item the same way over and over can shorten its life. If something does break please let us know so we can get it fixed as quickly as possible. However, if you have maliciously or knowingly forced something, you may be liable for repair costs, as stated in the waiver.
-
What if I feel uncomfortable in the room and want to get out?Every escape room at Ozark Escape has an emergency exit door. You can leave at any time through this door if you feel the need. The Experience Curator will make sure you know exactly where it is.
-
I've played loads of rooms already, can you challenge me?We love having guests that have played many times before, it's great to see you coming back for more. Our rooms have a set difficulty that can't be varied much (be it easy or hard), but our team will be happy to tell you the fastest times if you want to race the clock. We'll be happy to recommend a room for your level of difficulty.
-
Can we have a birthday party with you?Yes. Our locations all have an area that you can use (a fee may be charged) for any special occasion, such as birthday parties. We can set up extra tables and chairs for your group so you can eat before or after playing your room. We do not offer catering but you are welcome to bring your own. *Covid update. If you wish to use our event space we may need to block the store so your group can enjoy the space in safety and privacy. If so, you may lose your group discount (if applicable).
-
Are you the only escape room in town?In most places there is usually at least one other escape room business. Please make sure your entire group knows where they are playing. Our addresses are listed at the bottom of this page and we are always happy to help give directions if needed.
-
I can't make my assigned booking time, what should I do?If you are unable to get to us, please let us know as soon as possible. While we do not typically offer refunds, we may be able to reschedule your booking for another time.
-
Can we have more than the maximum amount of players in a room? Each room has a maximum group amount based on the room size and included puzzles. If your group is larger than this we can schedule 2 (or more) rooms to fit everyone in comfortably. Give us enough notice and we can set the rooms up to all start at the same time.
-
Does every group escape in time? No, but we hope that it will still be fun! The rooms will challenge your group, but they are all made to be escaped. The Experience Curator can help you by giving periodic clues during the game, to give you a greater chance of completing the room. Working together and communicating is a great way to improve your chances of escaping.
-
Do all Ozark Escape locations have the same rooms? Our rooms will vary by location. While some locations may have some of the same stories, the setup, layout, and props are unique to each room. Even if you play it at one location, finding it at another will offer a different experience.
-
Will I have to play with people I don't know? No! We only offer private bookings. We will never put you in a room with strangers.
-
How often do you change your rooms? We aim to change rooms after a year or so, depending on popularity. It takes a lot of work to plan and create, and we want everyone to get to play it and enjoy. We often cycle the rooms across our locations. If a room does move to a new location, it will often have new props and puzzles so it will be a fun new experience.
-
Your rooms and stories are great, can I play them anywhere else?Outside of Ozark Escape you will not be able to find our rooms. There may be similar story lines else where but all our rooms are unique to us. Inspired by movies, books, history, pop culture and more, our imaginative and creative staff write and create everything about our rooms for an exciting and one-of-a-kind experience.
